Funeral services for Elisabeth Harms, age 49 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Old Colony Mennonite Church at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Willie Giesbrecht officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harms was born in Ontario, Canada on March 17, 1974 to Mary (Peters) and Jacob Peters. She married George Harms in Seminole, Texas on August 26, 1990. She was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church and a homemaker.
Elisabeth Harms passed away at her home on Friday, May 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by one brother, Cornelius Peters. She is survived by her husband, George Harms of Seminole; one son, Stephen Harms and wife Susana of Seminole; five daughters, Hanna Harms, Naomi Giesbrecht and husband Matthew, Abigail Harms, Jessica Guenter and husband Franz, and Maria Fehr, all of Seminole; her parents, Jacob and Mary Peters of Paris, Texas; six brothers, Jacob Peters and wife Margie, Isaac Peters and wife Tina, and George Peters and wife Carmen, all of Paris, Texas, Henry Peters and wife Helena, and Johnny Peters and wife Anna, both of Seminole, and Bernhard Peters and wife Marcie of Wellington, Texas; three sisters, Maria Wiebe, Barbara Crabb and husband Jay, and Gertruda Letkeman and husband Bob, all of Paris, Texas; and five grandchildren.
