*Obituary Alvis Edward Woolam, Sr.
Alvis Edward Woolam Sr., 74, of Amarillo died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Andrews Old Cemetery in Andrews with the Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating. Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home of Andrews.
Mr. Woolam was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Lamesa to M.O. and Newell Woolam. He married Johnnye, his high school sweetheart, in 1951.
Survivors include three sons, Ed Woolam of Reno, Nev., Richard Woolam of Midland and Dennis Woolam of Amarillo; three daughters, Nancy Casto of Amarillo, Carla Woolam of Crescent City, Calif., and Jo Woolam of Austin; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
