H.D. "Doyle" Fowler, 86, of Big Spring died Thursday, Jan. 11, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services were held Friday at Trinity Memorial Park with Royce Clay officiating.
He was born, Oct. 1, 1920, in Ryan, Okla., to Bessie and George Fowler.
He married Sue Lunsford Nov. 24, 1945, in Shamrock.
He had been a resident of Howard County since 1956.
He was a member of the 14th & Main Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Fowler of Big Spring; two daughters, Joy Fowler of Big Spring and Linda Francis of Andrews; two grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Jean Adams Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three children, Clifton Dale Fowler, Kendall Mack Fowler, and Paula Sue Fowler; one sister, Vivian Dale Fowler.
