A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for 91 year old, Inocente Garcia of Garland, Texas, formally of Lamesa, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Inocente passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 in Garland, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1922 in Hebbronville, Texas to Evaristo and Concepcion Paiz. She married Narciso Garcia, Sr. in 1945 in Mathis, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Preceded her in death was her husband, Narciso Garcia, Sr.; her parents, Evaristo and Concepcion Paiz; her daughter, Raquel Gonzales; her sons, Narciso Garcia, Jr., Oscar Gonzales, Henry Garcia, Javiel Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Marcelo Macias and Macimo Garcia.
Inocente is survived by her sons, Hector Garcia, Fabian Garcia and Martine Garcia, all of Lamesa, Texas, Roy Garcia and Ernest Garcia, both of Big Spring, Texas and Richard Garcia of Hobbs, NM;her daughtes, Gloria Gandara of Big Spring, Texas and Aminta Barrera of Garland, Texas; fifty-four grandchildren; eighty-five great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; a host of family relatives.
