A Catholic funeral service Mass will be celebrated for Margarito Gomez, age 49 of Lamesa, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lamesa, Texas with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation will be heldon Tuesday and Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary service at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.

Margarito and Leticia Baltazar began a new life together on June 23, 2012 in Lamesa. He was a truck driver and operated his own business of Gomez Construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Gomez and mother, Ninfa Gomez; his grand-daughter, Madison Jade Baltazar; his nephews, Eddie Gomez, Jr. and Aiden Mathew Gomez.

Margarito is survived by his family, his wife, Leticia Baltazar Gomez of Lamesa, Texas; his sons, Markus Stephen Gomez and Christian Adrian Gomez, both of San Antonio, Texas; his daughter, Miracle Patricia Gomez of San Antonio, Texas; his step-daughter, Kendra Quintanilla of Lamesa, Texas; his step-sons, Anthony Baltazar and Michael Duson, Jr., both of Lamesa, Texas; his brother, Eddie Gomez, Sr. and Johnny Gomez, both of Lamesa, Texas, Joe Gomez of Big Spring, Texas; his sisters, Sally Gomez, Blanca Baltazar, Marisela Acosta, Mary Acosta, Luisa Delgado, all of Lamesa, Texas, Vickie Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas and Julia Gomez of Saltillo, Coah, Mexico; six grandchildren; several family relatives and friends.
