LAMESA - Services for Helen Hallmark, 87 of Lamesa were held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Branon Funeral Home with Ken Horn officiating. Burial followed at Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.

Helen passed away on March 6, 2008 at the Garrison Center in Lubbock. She was born on October 11, 1920 in Missouri to Starling and Pearl Lawson. She married William Linzie Hallmark on May 29, 1940 in New Mexico.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Hogg of Lubbock and Pam Yates of Seminole; brother, Gene Lawson of Floydada; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Odyssy Hospice of Lubbock, Buckner International and Garrison Center.
