Graveside services for Jack Earl Hataway, 89, of Early, Texas were held at 3 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Dawson County Cemetery with Kalith Brown officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
Jack died on January 20, 2021 in Brownwood. He was born on August 9, 1931 in Clovis, NM to Amos and Lillie Belle (Harp) Hataway. He coached and taught school for many years in Welch, Texas. He was a veteran of the US Army. He married Bobbie Gray. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2004.
Survivors include four sons: Joe Hataway of Early, Jon (Stephanie) Hataway of Post, Jerry (Susan) Hataway of Rockport and Jim (Vicki) Hataway of Elgin, 12 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son: Jay Dee Hataway on February 23, 2012.
