Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 25, 2016 at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chaplain Kevin McSpadden, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Mildred was born August 10, 1929 in McKinney, Texas to Josie Vennie Dalton Alexander and James Sidney Alexander.
She came to Big Spring in 1952 from McKinney and married L.D. Hayworth on February 12, 1969 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2001.
She relocated to San Angelo in 2008.
She was a volunteer at Scenic Mountain Medical Center as well as Baptist Retirement Center.
She was a homemaker, but also had been a service clerk at Sears.
Her love was cooking for others and working in her flower garden. She also loved fishing and R.V. camping especially at Inks Lake.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in San Angelo and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church while in Big Spring.
Mildred is survived by two sons: Tony Stewart and wife Robbie of Dublin and Farley Hayworth and wife Tonda of Lubbock; four daughters: Beth Perry and husband Mike, Lydia Eubank and husband Alan, all of Lubbock, Melanie Craven of Lubbock and Diann Mayo and husband Bobby of San Angelo; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and husband along with two granddaughters: Jennifer Dominguez and Cathy Hickox and three brothers: Hubert Alexander, Curtis Alexander and Porter Alexander and son-in-law Richard Craven.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Baptist Retirement Community Auxiliary, 902 N. Main, San Angelo, TX 76903.
