Funeral services for Anna Froese, age 56 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Pastor Neil Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Froese was born in Mexico August 31, 1967 to Anna (Schmitt) and Henry Martens. She married Jacob Froese in Seminole, Texas on September 1, 1985. She was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church and worked as a tax preparer. Anna enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren; she never missed a day going to the gym. She loved her family and church family dearly.

Anna Froese passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Froese of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Jake Froese, and Benny Froese and wife Lisa, both of Seminole; one daughter, Tina Friessen and husband John of Seminole; five brothers, David Martens and wife Margaret, Frank Martens and wife Eva, Heinrich Martens and wife Susan, John Martens and wife Helen, and Peter Martens and wife Helen, all of Seminole; two sisters, Kathy Dyck and husband Abe, and Mary Letkeman and husband Peter, both of Seminole; and seven grandchildren.
