Doreatha (DOT) J. McCartney Turner, 86, of Big Spring went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 12, 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held at Myers and Smith Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a Graveside Service following at Trinity Memorial Park. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, March 16 from 5 to 7 PM. Face masks are requested at services and the viewing. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.myersandsmith.com.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

DOT was born November 15, 1934 in Farmersville, TX to Lewis Carroll McCartney and Ethel Mae McCartney.

DOT met and married Ocie A. Turner of Big Spring on September 11, 1954. He passed away February 2, 1992.

She married J.L. (Toby) White on November 30, 1994, he passed away November 25, 2006.

She married Milton (Mo) Horton April 14, 2009, and he passed away on August 1, 2020.

DOT was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Carroll and Ethel Mae McCartney, baby sister Buelah Mae McCartney, her husband Ocie Turner, husband Toby White, husband Milton Horton, her son Billy Turner and his wives Lisa and Carol, her sisters Mildred Holeman and her husband Gene, Louella Connor and her husband Marvin.

She is survived by her children: son Robert Turner and wife Wanda, and daughter Brenda Elmore and husband David; 7 grandchildren, Brent and Heidi Elmore, Kerri and husband Chris Rosenbaum, BaLinda Turner, Tori and husband Andres Martinez, Kim and husband Kevin Hardin, Misti and husband Jeremy Russell, and Matthea and husband Quinten Little. Great grandchildren Blake, Cole, and Kaylie Rosenbaum; Trinity, Kynz, and Cassidy Gonzalez; Gracie Griffith; Mason and Peyton Russel; Peyton and Laney Elmore; Tristan, Kyle, and Max Martinez; Tristen and Haley, Tara, Reese, Robert, and Lee Hardin; Alessa Little. Great-great grandchildren Gabe and Carson Hardin, and Delena Woods
