Jeanine Huskey, 75, of Big Spring, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born September 22, 1936 to Sarah and T. E. Osborne in McComb, Mississippi.
She married Alvin Huskey, III on December 25, 1973 in Sand Springs. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2011.
She was a Medical Officer for 21 years at Webb Air Force Base. She was Chief of Medical Supply and Medical Disinfection for 19 years at the Veterans Administration Medical Cente.
She was a Baptist.
She is survived by three sons: Skipper Huskey and wife Ronda of Canyon, Lyndel Fletcher of Craig, CO. and Kerry Fletcher of Pueblo, CO.; two daughters: Kathy Chamblee of Gilbert, AZ and Dionne Fletcher of Big Spring; one sister: Jane Overman and husband D. W. of McKinney; one brother Don Osborne and wife Sandie of Big Spring; eleven grandchildren: Kerry DeWayne, Sherrie Teresa, Joseph Caron, Sarah Elizabeth, Chanel Dionne, Patricia Jeanine, Kaley Mikena, Jessica LaDea, Jordan Orion, Crystal Dawn, and Sydney Renee, and ten great grandchildren: Pashai, Britney, Hunter, Jared, Kole, Kimberly, Kailey, Andrew, Laura, and Dakota; and three more buns in the oven.
Pallbearers will be C. J. Osborn, Kerry DeWayne Fletcher, Jimmy Compton, Carson Fletcher, David Davis, and Casey Pledger.
The family suggests memorials to Crossroads Hospice, Big Spring, TX.
