Loyce Jones, 85, of Big Spring, died Saturday, January 21, 2017 in a local hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Gary Plew officiating.
She was born May 12, 1931 in Hico, Texas and married Glen Jones June 30, 1948 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death December 19, 1984.
Loyce was a longtime resident of Big Spring and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed writing poetry and crafts.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Jones and Jesse Jones and wife, Martha all of Big Spring; one daughter, Glenda Thompson, of Yukon, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Burcham; one daughter, Julie Van Dyken; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Jones; and five brothers Alfred Burcham, Anthony Burcham, Phillip Burcham, J. L. Burcham and Louis Burcham.
