Florene Kelley 90, of Big Spring died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Baptist Temple, with Rev. Eldon Reynolds and Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Florene was born January, 4, 1923 in Rule, TX, and married Luther Kelley in San Franscisco, California October 10, 1942.

Florene was a sales clerk for over 28 years in Big Spring for the C. R. Anthony's store.

After retiring in 1986, she spent time enjoying her family and cooking.

Survivors include her husband, Luther Kelley, of Big Spring; one daughter, Sarah Kelley, of Big Spring; one son, Warren Kelley and wife, Kay, of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Kyle Kelley and wife, Tabitha, of Lubbock, and Stacy Griffin and husband, Sam, of Levelland; and four great grandchildren. Colton Kelley, Kyleigh Kelley, Isabel Griffin, and Hays Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Della (Hutto) Denison; one brother, Bill Denison; and two sisters, Frances McDonald and Tommie Reynolds.
