Dorothy M. Kilgore, 83, of El Paso, formerly of Big Spring died Wednesday at Center for Compassionate Care in El Paso. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Herb McPherson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.
She was born January 16, 1929, in Anderson, Indiana to Mildred and Ezra Garwood.
She worked as an LVN at Webb Air Force Base Hospital for 18 years. She also worked at Malone & Hogan and Cowper Hospital.
She was a member of Berea Baptist Church.
She moved to El Paso several years ago.
She is survived by one son: Oran Kilgore of El Paso; and her sister: Mearle Morales of El Paso.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Grady Kilgore on October 30, 1994; and one daughter: Eunice D. Kilgore in December 2009.
Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
