BENTONVILLE — Ida A. Knox, 92, of Bentonville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, in Bentonville.

Mrs. Knox was born June 10, 1918, near Lamar, Colo., the daughter of Lee Rollie and Bertha May Creech Forsythe.

She was a licensed minister for 53 years with the Assembly of God Church and a member of Radiant Life Church in Bentonville. Mrs. Knox moved to Bentonville 14 years ago from Tulsa.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Neil Knox; her son, David Leon Knox; and her daughter, Nancy Marie Hanson.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lowry and husband, Lester, of Enid, Okla., Ida May Jobe and husband, Bobby, of Dallas; brother, Raymond Forsythe of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Doris Jefferies of Aline, Okla.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Radiant Life Church in Bentonville.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Radiant Life Church, with Pastor Lester Lowry and Pastor Galen Pearcy officiating.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery, Big Springs, Texas.
