Betty "Tootle" Krager, 59, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at her residence.

A vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Msgr. Bernard Gully, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on November 7, 1950, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and married Gary Krager on July 22, 1989 in Big Spring.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She graduated from High School in and was a member of the National Honor Society. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Big Spring State Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and was the church organist for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Krager of Big Spring; her daughter, Kathryn Krager of Arlington; her granddaughter, Alexia Edmondson of Arlington; one brother, Thomas Ross of Midland; one sister-in-law, Vonda Ross of Midland; one niece, Jennifer and one nephew, Sam Ross.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Betty Ross and one brother, Richard Ross.
