Dolores N. LeVier, 90, of Big Spring, died Monday, April 24, 2017 in Big Spring.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Dan Miracle officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
Dolores was born July 30, 1926 in Banty, Oklahoma to Ola Kelso Thompson and Olan H. Thompson.
She married Francis Willis LeVier on July 12, 1947 in Valley Center, Kansas.
The couple came to Big Spring in 1961 where she worked for GAMCO Industries for over 20 years.
She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and played bridge with the ABCL group.
She was also involved with Isaiah 58 Ministries and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Dolores is survived by two daughters: Frances Hobbs and husband Leon of Liberty Hill and Amy Schultz and her husband Chuck of Kingsville, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Francis Willis LeVier in June 2002 and one son Roger LeVier in 2015.
The family suggests memorials to Isaiah 58 Food Ministry or the First Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Derek Hobbs, Bryan Huff, Nicholas LeVier, Ryan Ward, Zachary Schooley and Garrett Schooley.
