Larry Joel Malone, 78, of Big Spring died Saturday, March 22, 2014 in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Larry was born December 28, 1935 in Portales, New Mexico to the late Ish and Ruth Malone. After graduating high school, Larry attended Eastern New Mexico State University and studied engineering. In his engineering career he had worked for several large engineering companies and then founded his own company, IDI. After retiring from IDI, he soon returned to work as an independent consultant. Larry was also a private pilot and in the later years enjoyed flying radio controlled planes. He also loved to shoot guns, was a member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Malone, of Big Spring; his son, Rick Cluck and wife, Debbie, of Arlington; his daughter, Kimberly Hatfield and husband, Bruce, of Lake JB Thomas; three grandchildren, Kristen Taylor, Mike Cluck, and Matt Cluck; one great grandson, Sam Taylor; and one brother, Ronald Malone and wife, Sharon, of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Blake Allen. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, % Andre Clark, P. O. Box 2121, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2121 or th ea favorite charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring. Mary Ella Malone, 73, of Big Spring, died Friday, May 8, 2015 in a Midland hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Mary was born January 10, 1942 in California and married Larry Malone October 9, 1981 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death March 22, 2014.
Mary is survived by one son, one daughter, three grandchildren, one great grandson and one brother.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, W.H. "Bill" and Dena Kate (Odom) Bain.
Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38405.
