BIG SPRING ~~ A. D. "Gus" Martin, 73, retired livestock dealer of Coahoma died Wednesday in a Big Spring Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m Friday in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring.
The Reverend Monroe Teeters and the Reverend Ralph Beistle will officiate with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.
He was born June 22, 1899 in Dublin. He moved to Howard County in 1923 from Colorado City.
He married Elizabeth Birkhead January 31, 1922.
He was a member of the Baptist Church in Dublin.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. J. L. Enlo of Waco; one brother, Conner Martin of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. T. W. Hawks of Borger, Mrs. Jess Thomas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mrs. Hal Ross of Phoenix, Arizona; 5 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One daughter, Beth Hossley died in 1958.
