B. D. Mason, 88, of Big Spring, died Monday, November 9, 2015 in an Odessa hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

B. D. was born February 21, 1927 in Big Spring and married Dorothy Lee Day April 14, 1950 in Big Spring, Texas. She preceded him in death December 27, 1987.

He was the Snap-On Tools salesman for this region.

B. D. served in the United States Army and was a Master Mason.

He was a Baptist.

B. D. is survived by a son, Ricky Mason and wife, Debora; three grandsons, Richard Mason, Chris Mason and Lane Williams; one granddaughter, Mindy Sedberry; four great grandchildren; a sister, Anita Morris and husband, James D.; a nephew, Dr. LeMac Morris and a great nephew, Dr. Matthew Morris.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ellie Hooper Mason; one son, Jerry Wayne Mason; two brothers, Donald J. Mason and T.J. Mason; one sister, Purnie Sneed and one beloved nephew, F.L. Sneed.
