Leon "Doc" Massey, 94, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, Aug. 13 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at Myers and Smith Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Oglesby officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday.
He was born July 11, 1909, in San Saba and married Lorene Currie, April 23, 1938, in Blanket.
They moved to Howard County in 1947 where Mr. Massey was a farmer.
He was also a member and deacon of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Vernon Massey of Kingwood; one daughter, Faye Boydston of Big Spring; three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
