Funeral services for Simon Perez, age 65 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Pastor Tony Pitcox officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas.
Mr. Perez was born February 18, 1958, in Austin, Texas to Anita (Rodriguez) and Pedro Perez. He married Tina Kelly in Seminole, Texas, and he worked in the oilfield for ten years. Simon was known for making necklaces and bracelets as well as earrings. He loved the outdoors and campfires. Simon also loved and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
Simon Perez passed away November 22, 2023, at his home in Seminole, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Tina, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Le Blanc and husband Kenneth of Seminole, Texas; six brothers, Pete Perez of Seminole, Texas, Paul Perez and girlfriend Dianna of Seminole, Texas, David Perez and wife Deanna of Seminole, Texas, Harry Perez of Seminole, Texas Oscar Perez of Odessa, Texas, and Adrian Perez of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Rosie Rocha of Seminole, Texas, Emilda Perez of Seminole, Texas, and Patt Perez and wife Amber of Seminole, Texas; and three grandchildren, Kamryn LeBlanc, Kynzee LeBlanc, and Korbyn LeBlanc, all of Seminole, Texas.
