Funeral Mass for Ramona Saucedo, age 85 of Seminole, Texas, will be celebrated Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at St. James Church from 6 to 7 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Saucedo was born May 18, 1938 in Kennedy, Texas to Julia (Barrera) and Sinforoso Flores. She married Domingo Saucedo, Sr. in Floydada, Texas. She was a Catholic. Ramona enjoyed listening to music, dancing, being outside, and roses. She was well known for her tamales, menudo, caldo, and her jalapeño gravy.

Ramona Saucedo passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Saucedo in 1992, one son, one daughter, one sister, and one grandson. She is survived by three sons, Domingo Saucedo, Jr. and wife Rosa Cortez of Lubbock, Texas, Robert Saucedo and wife Resencia, and Martin Saucedo both of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Irene Martinez of Odessa, Texas, and Estella Saucedo and husband Adam Garza of Seminole, Texas; one sister, Consuelo Rodriguez of Seminole, Texas; 33 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, and 43 great-great-grandchildren.
