Sandra McCutchan, 69, of Big Spring, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel with Doug Shelley, pastor of East Side Baptist Church Officiating.
She was born June 18, 1946 in Sweetwater, Texas to Alma (Rogers) Perryman and Jesse Hoyt Perryman. She married Calvin McCutchan on Feb. 17, 1967 in Big Spring. She was a Registered Nurse and had retired from VA Medical Center in 1995. She was currently working at Scenic Mountain Medical Center as nursing was her passion. She loved her kids and grandchildren and her dog, Lola. She loved traveling, reading, watching cooking shows and summer vacations.
She is survived by her husband Calvin McCutchan of Lake Colorado City; her son, Randy McCutchan and wife, Shawn, of Big Spring; one brother Elliot Perryman of Big Spring; three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Crystal McCutchan of Big Spring, Steven Johnson and two nieces, Michelle Oglesby of Oklahoma and Amanda Perryman of Big Spring and lifelong best friend, Eva Watkins, and all of her Scenic Mountain Medical Center Family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and infant baby girl Amy Ilene.
Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
