Frank McNew,
Rites Pending
Frank McNew, 84, died in a local hospital this morning. Services are pending at Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home.
Mr. McNew was born Aug. 23, 1886, in Tennessee and moved to Howard County with his parents when he was a small boy. He married Miss Elizabeth Brown Dec. 24, 1909. He farmed in Howard County until his retirement in 1967.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Rube McNew, Jack McNew and Wayne McNew; two daughters, Mrs. Dale Hogg and Mrs. Utah Campbell; one brother, Ike McNew; four sisters, Mrs. Roma Cline, Mrs. Roy Williams, Mrs. Gladys Cline and Mrs. Beatrice Nall; seven grandchildren, all of Big Spring. Two sons preceded him in death.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.
