Frankie Eugene Miller, 99, Deming resident passed away Monday April 4, 2011 at the Beehive Home.
No local services will be held. Burial will take place in Big Spring, Texas.
Frankie was born March 15, 1912 in Big Spring, Texas. She came to Deming in 1948. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served on the kitchen committee for many years. She had a great love for her Lord and her church family. Cecil and Frankie farmed south of Deming for many years. Frankie liked farming and was a great help. She loved driving the tractors and working outside with Cecil. The greatest love of her live was the Lord and church family, her sons and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Samanie of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter, Cheli Crouch and husband Terry. Three children, Amanda Barr, Cody Crouch and Taylor Croatt. Two great-great-grandchildren, Jaycie and Lane Croatt, all of Bay City, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley Ros and husband Joe. Three great-grand-sons, Garrett, Grayson and Gaven. One great-granddaughter, Aubrey of Van Vleck, Texas; grandson, Derek Tibbit of Bay City, Texas; Paul Cowein, her care giver in Chautauqua, New York and Becky Rossiter, a friend of the family for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Long and Lula Hognett; her husband, Cecil Miller in 1985; 2 sons, Ronald Miller in 1997 and Ralph Miller in 2006; three brothers, Cecil, Jim and Billy Long and five sisters, Ethel Fehler, Essie Bishop, Ione Bishop, Ireba Griffith.
