Lorene Minnick, 87, of Midland passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014.
Lorene Minnick was born September 1, 1927 to Guy Thrash and Opal Dacus in Houston, TX.
She was a wonderful Christian who loved the Lord.
Her life passions included her husband, John Minnick, of 59 years, her children, and being "Nan." Lorene loved being with people, playing with her grandchildren, and The Dallas Cowboys. Lorene worked as an accountant for 17 years.
Survivors include son, Edwin Minnick; daughter, Sheila McKinney and husband Gary; grandchildren, Les Simpson and wife Crystal, John Minnick and wife Tamara; grand dog, Ringo; and other relatives and friends.
Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, John Minnick; her parents; her sister; two grandsons, Wesley Simpson and Michael Minnick.
