Ann Reynolds Moore passed away in the evening of January, 18, 2013 after a short illness. She is now with her Lord and Savior. She was 92 years old.

She was born November 3, 1920 in Liberty, Mississippi to William Henry Reynolds and Ina Wilkinson Reynolds. She was the fourth child. She had three older brothers and one younger brother. She graduated from Liberty His School April 26, 1938. She then attended the School of Nursing at King's Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven, Mississippi for three years. She graduated January 15, 1942 as a Registered Nurse.

She came to Big Spring in January 1942 to work as an RN at Hall Bennett Hospital. She worked at the hospital from 1942 until 1954. From 1954 to 1964, she did some private nursing and was the TB nurse for Howard County for at least one year. In 1964 she returned to full time work as a School Nurse for the Big Spring Independent School District. She retired in 1976.

On October 16, 1942, she married Robert H. Moore Jr., in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He worked for the T & P Railway in Big Spring and they stared their married life in Big Spring. They were married for 52 years. Robert passed away January 29, 1998.

Ann and Robert were long time members of First United Methodist Church.

They had two sons.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert H. Moore III and wife, Holly, and Baxter Moore, all of Big Spring. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Stefanie Park and Tonya Greenwelge; grandson Joe Henderson; along with seven nieces and four nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Moore, Jr.; parents William Henry and Ina Wilkerson Reynolds; four brothers, James Martin Reynolds, Cary D. Reynolds, William Henry Reynolds and J. Edward Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her beloved cat Jeremy.

Ann Reynolds Moore was a wonderful wife, friend, daughter, sister, mother, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. She was loved and respected by all of her family members.

She will be terribly missed. She was a kind, sweet, loving, caring, witty, and compassionate Christian woman. She was a sweetheart. She was also a very strong-willed woman. Chocolate candy however, was a problem.

Cary Michael Reynolds, nephew and a chaplain at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth will officiate the funeral service that will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Burial will follow a the Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 22nd at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial be made to the First United Methodist Church of Big Spring, P.O. Drawer 1229, Big Spring, Texas 79721, or the charity of choice.
