Funeral services for Abram Friessen, age 33 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mennonite Evangelical Church with Pastor Jake Feher officiating and Pastor Henry Dyck and Kevin Reimer assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Friessen was born April 13, 1990 in Mexico to Maria (Dyck) and Peter Friessen. He married Katharina Fehr in Mexico on August 1, 2011. He attended the Mennonite Evangelical Church and worked in construction. Abram enjoyed reading his bible, listening to Christian music, and spending time with children. He was a man of strong faith.

Abram Friessen passed away at his parents' home in Seminole on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Katharina Friessen of Seminole; his parents, Peter and Maria Friessen of Seminole; six brothers, Franz Friessen and wife Lena of Dalhart, Texas, Johan Friessen and wife Sara of Mexico, Peter Friessen and wife Betty of Dalhart, Texas, David Friessen and wife Tina of Amherst, Texas, Corny Friessen and wife Maria of Dalhart, Texas, and Henry Friessen and wife Lisa of Seminole, Texas; and one sister, Greta Thiessen and husband Isack of Mexico.
