Elias "Lee" Munoz, 77, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

A vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

He was born February 7, 1935, in Big Spring, Texas and married Mary Lopez June 9, 1955 in Lampasas. She preceded him in death June 18, 1999.

Lee was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and had worked in maintenance at Hall-Bennett Hospital for many years. He enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.

Survivors include a daughter, Susie Dowden and husband, Tim of Memphis, Tennessee; a son, Lee Munoz of Big Spring; six brothers and sisters; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jo Annette Munoz.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, % Carolyn Brooks, P.O. Box 2121, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2121.
