FORT WORTH - Anne Robinson, 70, passed away May 26, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her loving children and husband.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: 6 p.m. Saturday at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor her spirit of helping others, donations may be made in her name to All Church Home for Children Foundation or Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County.

Born in Lille, France on Oct. 27, 1952 to Paulette and George Arki. Anne became a Seminole, Texas resident at the age of nine, and was officially adopted at the age of 10 by Almeda and Julian Gady along with one of her brothers, Frank. She was involved in many extracurricular activities throughout her years at school, a member of Westside Church of Christ, a cheerleader, on homecoming court, and known and loved by many friends and Seminole residents. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1971 and graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1975. Following her graduation, she pursued a career in journalism.

Anne met Steven while they were both working in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Instruments in 1976. They continued their relationship, and each moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1977 and then married Oct. 13, 1979 in Fort Worth, where they resided.

Anne was a devoted wife to Steven, and excited to be a mother. She had her daughter, Rachel Elizabeth on June 10, 1980 and her son, Zachary Michael on Jan. 20, 1983. Anne loved being a mom and was the most selfless and loving mother Rachel and Zachary could have ever dreamed of. Anne also loved all the high school students she taught during her 30-year career as a substitute teacher with Fort Worth ISD and Crowley ISD. Frequently giving them lunch money, helping them solve a personal problem, or being their advocate. In 2015, she became a grandmother and adored all four of her grandchildren; Luke (8), Lily (7), Hayes (5) and Elizabeth (5). She celebrated their sweet spirits, the funny things they said, and loved watching them grow into their own "little people".

Anne had a fun-loving spirit and was beautiful inside and out. She had an amazing personality, and never lost her laughable sense of humor despite the circumstances. She never met a stranger and relentlessly supported the underdog. She loved the color red, coffee, keeping up with current events in the news, dogs, Old movies- specifically Westerns, helping people and sending cards. She loved listening to music and was not afraid to have a dance party in the kitchen or in the car at a stoplight. Anne loved to read, eat Mexican food, cook chicken casserole, bake her infamous Zucchini bread, cheesecake, and Mississippi mud all while loving her family endlessly.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Paulette Larue and George Arki and Almeda and Julian Gady as well as her brother, Oliver Arki .

Survivors: Husband, Steven Robinson; daughter, Rachel Cypert-Robinson; son, Zachary Robinson (Katie); granddaughters, Lily Cypert and Elizabeth Cypert; grandsons, Luke Robinson and Hayes Robinson; brothers, Frank Gady (Marci) and Etienne Arki; nephew, Joshua Arki (Catherine); and extended family both near and far.
