*Obituary Sibyl N. Keaton North
Sibyl N. North, 88, of Stanton, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 26, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Stanton, with Rev. David Harp, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring.

She was born on October 15, 1922, in Brewer, Arkansas and married U. A. North, Sr. on January 30, 1944 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death in 1985.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her son, Ulen North and wife, Beverley of Stanton; two grandsons, Trey North and wife, Shawn of Lovington, New Mexico, Heath North and wife, Aimee of Stanton; two great grandsons, Brett and Bryce North of Lovington, New Mexico; two great granddaughters, Payden and Tatum North of Stanton; one brother, Bernie Keaton and wife, Pat of Midland; one sister, Imogene Weatherby of Midland; one sister-in-law, Mary Belle Keaton; one niece, Jackie Billingsly of Midland and one nephew, Robert Cowan of Metroplex.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Virginia Keaton and two brothers, Wayne Keaton and Donald Keaton.
