Norma Patterson, 89, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 4:00 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel with Doug Shelley, pastor of East Side Baptist Church, officiating.
Norma was born on May 22, 1928 in Pecos, Texas to Beatrice Bowie Jones and Walter Jones.
She married Robert "Pat" Patterson on January 28, 1956 in Big Spring, Texas.
She grew up in Big Spring and was homemaker.
She enjoyed playing Bridge, gardening, camping and traveling.
Norma had been living in Midland since 1975.
She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband Robert Patterson of Midland; one sister: Beverlyn Jones of Big Spring; one brother: Isaac (Butch) Jones and wife Peggy of Brenham; her sister-in-law Jane and husband Don DeBiase of Las Vegas and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Lois Ann Jones, Jacqueline "Bitsy" Martin, Janell "Gay" Hart, Iris "Irna" Baucum and Ellen Jones and her brothers: Gary Jones, Walter "Amos" Jones and one niece Jacqueline "Christi" Durham.
The family suggests memorials to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
