Mary Beth Ratliff, age 80 of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, October 22, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born February 28, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas and married John Weldon Ratliff in Big Spring, Texas where they resided and she worked for the United States Air Force as a civil servant.
She transferred to Carswell Air Force Base in 1977 and moved to Fort Worth, Texas.
She later went to work at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing until her retirement.
She cherished her kids, grandkids and extended family and was an amazing mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her sons, Weldon Ray Ratliff and wife Monya of Arlington, TX and Joe Dee Ratliff and wife Anna of Spicewood, TX. Daughter, Julie Johnson and husband Wayne of Big Spring, TX. Sister Jean Clark and husband Hugh of Big Spring, her nieces Zena Bedwell and Deana Clark and her grandchildren Colbie Ratliff, Tristan Ratliff, Avery Ratliff, John Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Ashley Kinsey, Holly Caffey, Hillary Ashworth, Cara Montanez and numerous cherished nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Weldon Ratliff, parents Denver and Clara Yates, brother Hollis Yates and sister Avanell Tompkins Ryan.
The family suggests memorials to a hearing loss or dementia organization of your choice.
