Malcolm Roberts, 61, died at 12:10 am Thursday at a local hospital after a short illness.
Services will be at 3:30 pm today in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.
Mr. Roberts was born August 23, 1907 in Aspermont. He moved to Coahoma in 1955. He was married to Lillian Fulton in 1927 at Breckenridge. He was a contract pumper in the East Howard and Otis Chalk Oil Field. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Billy Don Roberts of Houston, Joe Mack Roberts of Odessa, Jim Bob Roberts of Sands Springs, Larry Roberts of Garland, and Malcolm Roberts of St. Louis Mo; two daughters, Mrs. W.R. Sedquick of Big Spring and Mrs. Ted Thomas of Coahoma; a brother, Marshall Roberts of Breckenridge; a sister, Mr. J. L. Southerland of Breckenridge and 17 grandchildren.
