Johnny Rueda, 56, of Big Spring died Monday, February 11, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Graveside Memorial Services will be at 4:00 pm Friday at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.

He was born January 16, 1957 in Bryan, Texas.

He married Alice Baker on June 20, 2003 in Big Spring.

He worked as a driller in the oilfield.

He is survived by three sons: William and Anthony of Lubbock; Johnny Ray Michael Rueda Jr. of El Paso; three brothers James, Ruben and Freddie Rueda; one sister Margaret; six grandchildren: Alejha, Mica, Nena, Angel, Raymond and Anthony Jr.

In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his father James Rueda and one sister Lupe.

Alice Loraine Baker Rueda, 64, of Big Spring, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born September 29, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas to Audie and Alvin Baker.

She has been a lifetime resident of Big Spring.

She married Johnny Rueda in 2003 in Big Spring.

She worked as a nurse's aide at the nursing home and at the Big Spring State Hospital.

She loved music and her dogs.

She was a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband: Johnny Reuda of Big Spring; son Billy Tillapaugh and wife Dara of Denver, Colorado; three step-sons: Johnny Reuda, Jr., of El Paso, Anthony Joseph Reuda and William Daniel Reuda, both of Lubbock; three grandsons and one granddaughter; her mother: Audie Baker of Big Spring; two sisters: Susie Roach and husband Jerry and Glenda Bray and husband Speck, all of Big Spring; five brothers: Alvin Baker and wife Edith of Coahoma, Robert Baker, Nathan Baker and wife Trina, Jimmy Baker and Jessie Baker and wife Connie, all of Big Spring and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son David Tillapaugh.

Pallbearers will be Mike McCormick, Joe McCormick, Edward Roach, Randy Roach, Khas Baker and Mike Coffman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Roach and Speck Bray.
