*Obituary
John Ernest Jordan, 56, of Mason, Texas, passed away on 03/23/2017 in Mason, Texas. He was also born in Mason to Sterling and Carlita Jordan on 12/01/1960. He married Susie Jordan on 01/04/1986 at Art UMC. John's personality was so special and everyone knew him as a person with a twinkle in his eye, a joke and a story to tell, of course - he was a Jordan! No one was more positive than John even when faced with his illness. Positivity was John's way. Although John lived and breathed work – his family came first in his heart and he loved them dearly.
He went to Mason, Texas schools and attended ASU in San Angelo, Texas. John's working career began in the oil industry where he gained valuable experience for future endeavors. In 1986 he became a young business man by obtaining his first company. This led him into the funeral container business. Not being one to sit idly by he worked continuously to perfect these containers. Because of John's tenacity he also researched other products to implement into his business to diversify his company and it became very successful. As such he was very well respected by his many colleagues as a business savvy adventurer. Following his father's lead, John became a member of The Gideon's International and enjoyed serving this organization very much.
John was preceded in death by his mother Carlita Luckenbach Jordan and many other loved Aunts and Uncles. John was survived by his wife, his son, his daughter, a grandchild, his father, a sister, a brother, nieces and nephews, and many other family members.
