*Obituary
Maria S. Wilson, 71, of Big Spring died on Friday, February 19, 2010, in a local hospital. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Ariel Lagunilla officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010, at the Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Rose Marie Guthrie of Big Spring and Patricia Sue Smith and husband Mark of Coahoma; one son, Elmer Lee Wilson IV of Lubbock; one sister, Hortencia Carter of Del Valley, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Maria was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Elmer Lee Wilson III.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Carolyn Brooks, P.O. Box 2121, Big Spring, TX, 79721-2121 or the Scleroderma Foundation, Attn: Donations, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923..
