Nell Wilson, 91, of Lubbock, formerly of Big Spring, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at The Plaza in Lubbock.
Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel with Rev. Carroll Kohl, officiating.
She was born February 17, 1926 to Lillie Charlotte Pieper Hennig and Henry William Hennig.
She married W. L. “Bill” Wilson, Jr. on October 3, 1948 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1991.
They ranched in Borden County and owned Bill Wilson Oil Company in Snyder.
She was a graduate of Seton School of Nursing in Austin with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by five nephews: Kenneth Hennig, LaRue Hennig, Jake Lane, Hank Lane and Joe Lane; two nieces: Lunell Ballinger and Charlotte Farmer and a cousin Leora Hering.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Pam Wilson Gass; one brother: Henry L. Hennig; two sisters: Jean Lane and Eldora McCall and one niece Annette Legg.
