BIG SPRING - Elizabeth S. Whatley, 70, Big Spring, died Monday, June 11, 1990, at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with the Rev. David Robertson, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
She was born May 22, 1920, in Mineral Wells. She married Everett Whatley July 19, 1941, in Mineral Wells. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She and her husband came to Big Spring in 1948. She worked for the Big Spring Independent School District in food services as a secretary from 1961 to 1982, when she retired.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Suzanne) Anderson, Tyler; and two grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lawlis, Dave Dorchester, Jud Lloyd, Kenneth Stephens, John Annen, and Bobby McDonald.
The family suggests memorials to the National Kidney Foundation, 116 E. 27th, New York, N.Y., 10016; or to the Presbyterian Children's Home, 3400 Bowie, Amarillo, TX. 79102.
