AURORA, Colo.--Donald D. Trupp, 82, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Grand Island, died Sept. 28, 1999, at his daughter's home in Aurora, Colo. Services were Monday at Big Springs, Texas.
Mr. Trupp was born July 22, 1917, in Hastings to Henry and Janie (Booker) Trupp. The family moved to Grand Island in 1919. He grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1936. On Aug. 1, 1943, he married Alta Coleman at Big Springs, Texas. He was a radio man in the Air Force during World War II. After his discharge he was a postman in Big Springs until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kay Sinnerty of Aurora, Colo.; three sisters, Leona Bennink and Betty Thomas of Grand Island and Fern Glantz of Mesa, Ariz. He was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Loftus.
