*Obituary Vicki S. Annen Stewart
Vicki Suzanne Stewart, 66, of Big Spring, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, in a Lubbock hospital.
Private family services were held.
She was born March 11, 1954, in Hobbs, New Mexico.
She was adopted March 14, 1954, by John and Nancy Annen and brought to Big Spring.
Vicki married Howard Stewart April 11, 1981 in Big Spring.
Vicki graduated from Big Spring High School in 1972 and from Pan American University in 1976.
She taught art for Big Spring ISD for 27 years.
Vicki was a Rainbow Girl with Assembly 60, was initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #67 in 1984 and was currently serving as secretary.
She volunteered many years for the American Cancer Society and was a state trainer for Relay for Life.
Vicki volunteered as a coordinator and designer for the Festival of Lights for 12 years and was a member of the 1953 Hyperion Club.
In 2017 Vicki was named Big Spring Woman of the Year.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Stewart; one son, Quintinn Stewart; one daughter, Stephanie Piercefield and husband, Michael; three grandsons, Maximus Piercefield, Makennen Piercefield and Trooper Harrison; and a cousin, Pam Searcy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Howard Rex Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Comanche Trail Festival of Lights, % Georgie Newsom, P. O. Box 2464, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2464.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
