Alyene M. Skiles, 94, of Ballinger, formerly of Big Spring, died on Thursday, April 1, 2010, in a Ballinger nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2010, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.
She was born on January 27, 1916, in Limestone County, Texas, and married William M. Skiles on January 28, 1956, in Lovington, New Mexico.
Aylene was a loving wife and mother and her joy was taking care of her home and family.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William M. Skiles of Ballinger; one son & daughter-in-law, Danny and Linda Roberts of Ft. Worth; one daughter & son-in-law, Glynda and Jerry Bradley of Lake Ivie; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Minnie Bennett; two sisters; two brothers; and a grandson.
Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
