Graveside services for Lenia 'Deen' (Pillion) Johnson, 92, will be held Monday April 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Lamesa Memorial Park with Roy Byrd officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Lenia passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born on September 17, 1923 in Taylor County, Texas. She was the fourth daughter of Lovell and Irene (Bradshaw) Pillion. She graduated from Sparenberg High School in 1942 and from Wayland Baptist in 1944. She married Les Johnson on May 31, 1946 in Lamesa, Texas. Lenia taught school in Woody and Dawson for two years. She was a bookkeeper for Western Wrecking for over 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lamesa since 1946. Lenia is survived by her son, Jerry Bob Johnson of Lamesa and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Les in 1990; son, Larry Don Johnson in 2008; four sisters, Katherine, Josephine, Eva Lea and Blanch; brother, Travis Pillion and two nephews.
