Jeanette Estelle Brewer Walker

Ms. Jeanette Estelle Walker passed away on January 25, 2024, at 77 years of age at San Gabriel Rehabilitation and Care Center, Round Rock, TX.
She is survived by her only son, Daniel Walker, his wife Sylvarya Latosha Walker, her sister Margarette Lemelle and Margarette Lemelle’s son, Kevin Lemelle.
Ms. Walker was born on October 25, 1946, in San Antonio, TX; birth parents Roland and Helen Brewer (Crunk). She graduated from Phyliss Wheatley High School in San Antonio, TX on May 1964, then graduated from San Antonio Junior College with a certificate of Nursing and Psychiatric Care. She continued her education at the University of North Carolina in the city of Wilmington (UNCW). Jeanette Brewer married Wesley Walker, who birthed a son, Daniel Craig Walker.
Jeanette became a born-again Christian in 1988 at Born Again Ministries under Pastor Bishop John Wesley Barber where she was certified and ordained as an Evangelist. She gained additional evangelical ordination at The Church of the Living Water, Austin, TX in 1999. She dedicated her life to serving the mission of Christ, preaching, and sharing the Gospel with those she encountered.
In 1999, she became CEO of her own business, Visions Foster Care Home Inc.; a group home for mentally challenged and/or senior citizens she operated successfully for over 30 years in Pflugerville, TX. She continued to evangelize, promote the Gospel while operating her business.
Jeanette loved to travel and frequently visited many parts of Europe and the Caribbean Islands. Her legacy of overwhelming love, hard-work, strong-willed determination, and generosity will be appreciated and remembered.
Jeanette Walker’s celebration of life service will be held on Thursday 10:00 a.m. Feb 29, 2024, at Celebration Church located at 1006 W Koenig Lane, Austin TX 78756.
