Woodie Dean Johnson was born in Dallas, TX to Willie and Maggie Johnson on May 6, 1955 and passed December 25,2023 in Del Valle, TX.
Dean loved to fish. He didn’t care if it was a creek, pond, lake, or a coast. He will be cremated and his ashes spread at the coast. He requested no services or funeral.
Dean’s father and uncles worked building highways and roads. He attended schools and lived many places during his youth.
Dean worked as mechanic and carpenter. He loved riding motorcycles, comedy shows, taking trips, and going to casinos.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Brothers Billy Johnson, Thomas Johnson, and Anthony Johnson. Sisters Carmelita Dale, Ester Straley, and Betty Johnson
He is survived by his wife Kerri Johnson.
His children; Shannon Johnson, Angela Callahan, Justin Johnson, Greg Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, and Kassidy Johnson.
Stepdaughter Alysha Hopkins. Special niece Melissa Johnson-Ramirez. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His fur babies Little Man, Reyna, and Ginger. His feathered friend Polly.
