Evelyn Lochte Pospick passed away peacefully on May 28, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on November 25, 1921, to parents Gretchen and Max Lochte. While attending the University of Texas at Austin she met her future husband, William Robert Pospick. She later joined him in Venezuela to live there thirteen years. Upon returning to the United States they settled in University Park to raise their children Robert and Virginia.

Evelyn was very social and maintained long friendships with many people over the years. She was an avid volunteer and active in the community. She served as president of the Dallas Federation of Women’s Clubs from 1985 to 1987. She held leadership positions in Bayview Century Club and Profiteers (investment club) as well as others.

She thoroughly enjoyed world travel and was fluent in English, Spanish, and German. Always young at heart and looking forward to the next adventure. She will be missed by family and friends. She left the world a better place.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband William. Survived by son Robert, wife Elizabeth and grandsons William and Walter Pospick Also, daughter Virginia, husband Don and grandchildren Christopher, Allison, and Eric Sterling.
