*Obituary
Carol Jean Pitts was born in Anniston Alabama on January 5, 1951 to Earnest and Nannie Lou Pitts in the foothills of the Talladega National Forest about an hour east of Birmingham.
Nickname growing up: Baw Gal
Earnest Pitts was in the military and fought abroad in the pacific for the US earning numerous medals including the Purple Heart. Nannie Lou Pitts was a homemaker and looked after the children Raymond, Carol and Donny.
She grew up and lived in Anniston through high school and got married to Mahmoud John Fakhari and soon after Adam and Skyla were born just a couple years apart Adam in Anniston in 1977 and Skyla in New Jersey in 1979 when the family relocated the to be close to other families members and in the same area. She was beautiful, she was loving and sweet, loved to laugh and be outside. When we had relocated out to Anaheim, CA in the late 80’s she really enjoyed being at the beach. She would take her kids with some other family we knew and would meet up and do play dates at the beach, sometimes even pulling them out of school just to go to the beach on some particularly beautiful days, when the weather was perfect.
That’s how we remember our mom as a kind, loving, thoughtful lovable mom. Thoughtful of others in times of need. She was there for us throughout the most important times in our lives and we respected her as a person and as our mom. We love her deeply and will cherish the memories we made together. We look forward to being reunited with her in heaven. Wait for us Momma! We love you forever & ever!!
