*Obituary Charlene S. Stinnett McKenzie
Funeral services for Charlene McKenzie, age 92 of Loop, Texas will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Loop with Pastor James Shelton officiating, and Pastor Jerry Bingham assisting. Burial will follow at Loop Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mrs. McKenzie was born December 30, 1930 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Winona (Posey) and Adderson Jerome Stennett (Stinnett). She married William McKenzie in Wells, Texas on April 3, 1948. Charlene was a Baptist and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing, 42 and spinner; she especially loved being around her family. Charlene was a kind and sweet soul who loved taking care of everyone around her.

Charlene McKenzie passed away at her home in Loop, Texas on Friday, June 9, 2023. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William McKenzie in 2009; one sister, Alice, and one grandson, Dar. She is survived by three sons, Jerry McKenzie and wife Laura of Brownwood, Texas, Rodger McKenzie of Loop, Texas, and Michael McKenzie and wife Tonya of Breckenridge, Texas; two daughters, Pam Yocom and husband Danny of Joshua, Texas, and Charla Scott and husband Shane of Loop, Texas; one brother, Gus Stennett and wife Sherri of Conroe, Texas; 15 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
