Graveside services for Imogene Florence 'Jean' Case, 91, will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Loop Cemetery with Pastor Tobey Clements officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at Branon Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Jean passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Big Spring.

She was born December 31, 1926 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Henry Monroe and Chatherne Francis (Tidwell) Johnson. Jean married Jasper Case May 25, 1944 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death November 27, 2005. They were married 61 years. She was a long time member at Second Baptist Church. Jasper and Jean golfed daily and loved their golfing buddies. Jean had a hole-in-one in the 1980s. She was a talented oil painter especially painting scenery. She and Jasper loved Senior Citizens Centers and enjoyed dancing. They traveled for 15 years in their RV. Jean is survived by her children, Sandra Myers and husband, Don of Brownwood, and Glenda Case of Brownwood; daughter-in-law, Becky Case of Aledo; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Larry Case. The family suggests memorials to Dawson County Senior Citizen Senior, 609 N Austin Ave, Lamesa, TX, 79331.
